A summary by Woody.

Saturday started off looking like it wasn't going to be very great wind and continued throughout the day to stay that way, the day's event was cancelled at about 4ish but we'd been having fun skateboarding, longboarding, eating hotdogs, eating burgers and generally just messing about to avoid boredom.  So Saturday was a no go for kiting but we did have a most enjoyable drink or two in the pub that evening.

Sunday started off pretty quiet too but did pick up enough to run the competition although it was very challenging to actually pull off anything interesting.  Dave was rocking in the buggy pulling kiteloops left, right and centre with various rotations and tweaks which was pretty impressive gaining him 2nd place for the day's event behind (Phat) Dan Vaughan the series winner.  Will Mckean gained third on the day putting him in 2nd in the series.

I was flying a 12m Frenzy which isn't a light wind kite at all, both Butch (series winner) and I were having real issues pulling any aerial manoeuvres, it's a good job they had some ramps there!  I pulled off a few unhooked kiteloops, ground handle-passes and the obligatory mooning tweaks which are quickly becoming signature moves for me.  I was finally placed 3rd overall for the series behind Butch and Joe Hockley, Joe was pulling some great flat-3s and 540 frontloops to blind and ground handle-passing out of them.

After taking Dave home, I finally got in to bed about 1ish so I'm a bit like the living dead today.
