Once the driving design force behind Wipika and Takoon, Mat Pendle went out on his own in 2002 and started Globerider Kites. The Globerider premier kite was the 2003 LIFT, which was very well accepted with the kiteboarding crowd worldwide. Noted for its huge windrange and bomber construction, the LIFT quickly earned a reputation as a serious high performance kite. Now comes the SONIC.
The unique bow kite style design is an extension of the original LEI design taken to the next level.
